Is telling people that “God has a wonderful plan for your life” and then giving them only the scriptures about peace, God’s love, victory, purpose, etc. really being a faithful witness for Christ?
When we leave out the unsavory and distasteful hard truths, and purposefully weight the presentation of our witness with only the things that a dead and rebellious sinner considers pleasant and desirable, are we helping them or actually doing them a great (possibly eternal) disservice?
