INGREDIENTS: 1 wicked heart, 1 dash of idolatry, 1 mind of vanity, 1 pound of materialism, 1 bunch of selfishness, 5 pounds of cruelty, 1 backslidden spouse, 1 pinch of innocent blood
INSTRUCTIONS: Mix all but last 2 ingredients and let harden about 18 years; Remove from setting and add the backslidden spouse; Let mix stew in its own juices; Add innocent blood and boil; Mix under the judgment of God and strain immediately through a high window. Serves one pack of dogs.
Or to put it another way: You cannot fight against God and win.
